How to fix P1768

  1. Check for a sticking PGM-FI main relay by watching for continued PCM communication with the key off
  2. Measure solenoid A resistance and look for roughly 3 to 10 ohms
  3. Test wiring between the solenoid connector and PCM terminals for shorts or opens
  4. Replace solenoid valves A and B as a set if the coil is out of specification
  5. Clear the DTC with an HDS scan tool and road test through all gears
